Genoa, 22 October 2025-PSA Genoa Pra' terminal has been bringing new environmental sustainability workshops to schools in Pra' (Genoa). 

These programmes enrich the traditional educational offering for girls and boys in the Genoa area, providing active, participatory learning experiences focused on some of the most pressing issues of our time. 

The support of companies is essential, as it makes it possible to create educational experiences that often do not find space within the school environment, yet are crucial to shaping informed and responsible future citizens. 

Over 120 students aged between 12 and 14, two schools, and a great deal of enthusiasm, curiosity and commitment: this is where the project developed by PSA Italy in partnership with Helpcode began, involving lower secondary schools in the Voltri and Pra' districts. 

We are pleased to have joined Helpcode's programme with an educational pathway dedicated to energy, in line with the significant investments that PSA Italy terminals - and in particular PSA Genoa Pra' - are making in low-environmental-impact equipment and in supplies certified according to ESG criteria. 

The aim of the project is to promote a culture of energy sustainability among younger generations, making students active drivers of change through a practical, hands-on and global citizenship education approach. 

In total, the project comprised 96 hours of activities, including workshops, discussion sessions and a final event, the "Inventions Fair", during which students presented fully functioning solar-powered creations, the result of informed choices and teamwork. 

During the closing event, our colleagues Luca Polleri, Head of Engineering at PSA Genoa Pra', and Irene Parmeggiani, Head of Communication at PSA Italy, met with the students to share insights into the world of port terminals and our concrete commitment to the sustainable growth of the local area.
