SECH: Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for the new Künz A-RMG cranes at Rugna Rail Yard

This morning, we welcomed the Künz delegation to our SECH terminal: together with David Moosbrugger, CEO of Künz GmbH, Matteo Tosi, CEO of Künz Italia, Christoph Plank, Austrian Commercial Consul, and our CEO Roberto Ferrari of PSA Italy, we celebrated the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the two new Künz A-RMG (Automated Rail Mounted Gantry) cranes at the Rugna Rail Yard, operated under concession by PSA SECH and Bettolo.

The new A-RMG cranes are part of SECH terminal’s investment plan aimed at strengthening sustainability and its commercial strategy through the development of intermodal container flows between road and rail, connecting Northern Italy and Southern Europe markets, in line with our development objectives through to 2047.

With the capacity to handle up to 20 pairs of trains per day, the Rugna Yard represents a key asset for the intermodality of the Port of Genoa and its connection to the Terzo Valico dei Giovi and the growth markets served by the Genoese port system.
